Back to NYC
Almost a year ago, I was leaving Stanford to move to the East coast. I was about to share my time between Babson College, as an MBA exchange student, and NYC, where I had all my friends. That was awesome !
In december, I had to come back to France to finish my studies at HEC Paris. And today, I’m VERY excited to say that I’m moving back to NYC. Why NYC ? Tons of reasons. I’ll try to cover them in an other post.
For now, I just want to tell why we’re so excited to move. The truth is, over the last 7 months, I’ve been pretty busy. I was pretty much studying at days and coding at night with Davy, my co-founder. I was sleeping every night with Davy in the same bed. We wanted to save some time commuting… My family was kind of worried at the beginning, but, over time, my dad adopted Davy as a son :) Anyway, this kept us in a battlefield mindset and it paid off.
We’ve been working very hard on Zapkast and we’re about to enter in the second phase of the beta in NYC. We still need to fix a few glitches here and there, but hopefully, we’ll be releasing to the public in September just for the TV fall.
Before leaving Paris, I want to thank our families and friend for supporting us. From the bottom of my heart. And no doubt that you’ll be personally featured on zapkast’s website :)
As someone venturing into the wild, I’m little nervous… But so I was 3 years ago before leaving for a 1 year world trip with Terre de Talents [fr]… And this ended up being the most exciting year of my life ! (see video below)
So. Ladies and Gentlemen. Let’s take that leap of faith and believe everything will turn out OK !
